Your Data Is Only as Safe as the People and Processes Behind It

What our independent certifications actually mean for your project, in plain terms.

In short

You shouldn’t have to hope your data is in good hands. Volga holds independent ISO certifications for information security and AI management, audited by a third party and renewed on a schedule. Here is what they cover and what they change about your project day to day.

If you’re thinking about working with an outsourcing partner, you’re probably asking yourself this question: what happens to our data once it leaves our hands?

It’s the right question. For the work we do, that data might be unreleased product details, real user queries, or guidelines your team spent months writing. You shouldn’t have to hope it’s in good hands. You should be able to check.

That’s why Volga holds independent ISO certifications. Here’s what they mean, in plain terms.

“Certified” means someone else checked

Anyone can say they take security seriously. An ISO certification means an independent, accredited auditor looked at how we actually work and confirmed we meet an international standard. And it doesn’t stop there. Certified companies are re-audited regularly, so we can’t rely on a certificate from years ago.

What we’re certified for

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 — Information Security

This is the global standard for protecting sensitive information. It covers who can access what, how data is stored and shared, how risks are spotted and handled, and what happens if something goes wrong. In short, security is a system we run every day.

ISO/IEC 42001:2023 — AI Management

This one is newer, and it matters if your work involves AI. It’s the first international standard for managing AI responsibly, covering governance, risk, transparency, and accountability across the AI lifecycle. We build training data and evaluations for AI systems, so it should be reassuring to know that the way we work has been independently reviewed against a standard designed for exactly this field.

Backed by more than ISO

Beyond information security and AI governance, Volga is certified by WBENC and NMSDC and recognized as a Women-Owned Business. These certifications support supplier diversity goals and show that we’re an established, verified business, which many enterprise procurement teams require.

What it looks like day to day

Certifications can feel abstract, so here’s what they mean for your project:

  • Only the right people see your data. Access is limited to the team members who need it for your project.
  • Our people are trained. Everyone who works with your data understands what’s expected of them before they start.
  • We have a plan for when things go wrong. Because even good teams have bad days, we have clear steps for catching issues early, reporting them honestly, and fixing them fast.
  • We keep ourselves honest. Regular audits mean standards stay high long after the paperwork is filed.

Trust is earned, not claimed

Our clients include Fortune 500 companies and organizations in highly regulated industries, where security, reliability, and governance aren’t optional. Our teams work across 150+ languages and dialects, and on a single search evaluation program alone, they completed over 300,000 judgments a year.

That scale only works because security and quality are part of how we operate.

If you’d like to see our certificates, go through our security practices, or ask how we’d handle your specific data and requirements, we’re happy to have that conversation. We can also set up a demo call to walk you through our approach: how we staff projects, protect your data, and keep quality consistent from the first task to the last.
